If you’re not sure whether your plan is eligible, I’m happy to help you check your benefits or guide you through the verification process.
I offer medication management with supportive therapy built in. That means we’ll talk not just about symptoms and prescriptions, but also about your nutrition, sleep, stress, relationships, goals, coping skills, and habits because those all matter in your healing.
Medication management is a thoughtful, ongoing process where we explore whether psychiatric medication could support your mental health — and if so, we find the lowest effective dose with the fewest side effects that truly helps you feel more like yourself.
This includes:
Listening to what you're experiencing
Reviewing your history, symptoms, and goals
Choosing medications (if needed) that align with your values and lifestyle
Checking in regularly to monitor how you're doing — emotionally, physically, and mentally
Making adjustments together based on your feedback
You’re always in the driver’s seat. My role is to offer guidance, education, and support, not pressure or quick fixes.
While I take a holistic, person-centered approach, I don’t provide long-term, weekly, in-depth psychotherapy.
You’ll never feel rushed, and you’ll always be heard. This is collaborative care, focused on what actually supports your life.
1. Choose Your First Appointment Type
You can begin by scheduling either:
A 15-minute consultation call (if you’d like to ask questions and make sure we’re a good fit), or
A 60-minute intake appointment to get started with care right away.
2. Complete Billing Setup
Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a link from either Alma or Headway — two trusted billing platforms I use to handle insurance and payments.
Please complete your billing information as soon as possible. These platforms may take a few business days to verify your benefits, and we want to avoid any delays in care.
3. Fill Out New Patient Paperwork
You’ll also receive a separate set of new patient forms from my practice. These need to be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment. The forms may take 15–30 minutes to complete, so please give yourself time. If paperwork is incomplete, we may need to reschedule your session.
4. Check Your Google Calendar Invite
You’ll receive a Google Calendar invitation for every appointment. If your appointment is via telehealth, your calendar invite will include a unique Google Meet link — just click the link at the time of your session to join securely!
New Patient Intake – 60 Minutes
All new patients begin with a 60-minute intake appointment, even if you've previously been evaluated, diagnosed, or treated elsewhere. This comprehensive visit allows me to understand your full story, including your history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals.
It’s also necessary for me to gather the detailed clinical information needed to justify care and treatment with your insurance company. Every person is unique, and I want to make sure your treatment plan is built around you and not just past records.
Follow-Up Appointments – 30 Minutes
Most ongoing visits are 30 minutes long and include time to discuss how you're feeling, evaluate medications, and check in on your overall wellbeing.
If we're starting or adjusting medication, we’ll usually meet every 2–3 weeks to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Once you're feeling stable, we’ll space appointments out gradually: → To 1 month → Then to 2 months → And eventually, every 3 months (the farthest allowed interval for ongoing medication care)
No, in-person visits are not required at this time. Our telehealth appointments are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth, allowing you to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your home.
While pharmacies are legally allowed to set their own policies, including requiring in-person visits for certain medications, you are always free to switch pharmacies if one is unable to fill your prescription.
In my practice, I’ve never had a patient unable to access necessary medication due to telehealth visits.
All sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth using Google Meet. Once your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive a Google Calendar invitation with all the details.
For each telehealth visit, simply click the unique Google Meet link included in your calendar invite at the time of your session!
Booking your first appointment is simple!
Just click the “Schedule” button above or the "Schedule" tab in the header to view available times and choose what works best for you. You’ll have the option to book a 15-minute consultation or a 60-minute intake appointment.
You can also choose your preferred appointment format:
Telehealth (secure video sessions from the comfort of home)
In-person at my office in Sunnyvale, CA
Once scheduled, you’ll receive next steps for billing, new patient paperwork, and how to prepare for your visit.
That’s completely okay. You never have to share more than you’re comfortable with.
We can start by focusing on what feels most pressing to you right now whether that’s anxiety, sleep, focus, mood, or something else. While having a full picture of your history can be helpful for long-term care, we’ll move at your pace, not mine.
This is your space, and you get to decide what feels safe to talk about and when. Healing doesn’t require rushing; it just requires honesty, trust, and time.
